La Academia de Hollywood ha dado a conocer la lista de las películas que se ha inscrito para competir por el galardón a la mejor cinta de animación. En total han sido 25 las que han presentado credenciales, nueve más del mínimo necesario para que haya 5 nominadas en esta categoría.
